Install this app into your Splunk Enterprise instance to help you to aggregate crash logs or stacktrace of unhandled exceptions from your mobile apps. Index and perform crucial analytics on the data collected from the mobile apps that you have develop to gain better visibility; particularly to address the instrumentation of crash logs.

No more guessing what kind of errors that end users experience with your mobile apps on their smartphones. Best used together with:

First of all, mobile app developers may want to install this library into their mobile app(s) and forward the data via TCP. The libraries are listed here:

There are two methods to install this app:

  1. via Splunk Web in the Manager » Apps;
  2. download the package from here and manually install this app into your Splunk instance

By default, this app listens to TCP post 9090. You will want to get the URL of your Splunk Enterprise instance and use it as such:

  1. For iOS app: [Splunk TCPHost:@"YOUR_SPLUNK_URL" TCPPortNum:9090];
  2. For Android app: Splunk.TCPconnect("YOUR_SPLUNK_URL", 9090, getApplicationContext());
