To install your download

To install apps and add-ons from within Splunk Enterprise

Log into Splunk Enterprise.
On the Apps menu, click Manage Apps.
Click Install app from file.
In the Upload app window, click Choose File.
Locate the .tar.gz file you just downloaded, and then click Open or Choose.
Click Upload.
Click Restart Splunk, and then confirm that you want to restart.

To install apps and add-ons directly into Splunk Enterprise

Put the downloaded file in the $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps directory.
Untar and ungzip your app or add-on, using a tool like tar -xvf (on *nix) or WinZip (on Windows).
Restart Splunk.

After you install a Splunk app, you will find it on Splunk Home. If you have questions or need more information, see Manage app and add-on objects.

Overview

Nutanix Flow Security Central (FSC) helps you keep your hybrid cloud safe across Nutanix Private Cloud, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure Public Cloud. Identify and fix security issues in real-time. Automate compliance checks for cloud operations using 800+ audit checks. Visualize network traffic and simplify micro-segmentation strategy for your Nutanix deployments. Get compliance checks for regulatory policies such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST, and more.
This add-on helps you integrate your Splunk install with your Flow Security Central account. It will bring all the Security Central logs related to vulnerabilities detected and issue state changes to your Splunk install.

This is the first release of Nutanix Flow Security Central Splunk add-on. You will be able to fetch logs periodically from your Security Central account into your Splunk install.
