Overview
Details
This app enables users to visualize data from Apple's HealthKit. It is to be used in conjunction with the iOS App called "Health Post". See the details pane for the latest information on how to obtain the corresponding iOS App.

This app is intended to visualize data from the iOS App called Health Post.

To obtain Health Post for your iOS Device, visit the following link:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/health-post/id1441893550

In order to setup Health Post, you'll need the following information:

  • A Running Splunk instance
  • An HTTP Event Collector Input and Token
  • The URL For your HTTP Event Collector Input
  • When you configure this app - please use the HTTP Event Collector endpoint URL that ends in /services/collector/event. This is important for the sake of making this app work.

Here is a video tutorial you can use for setting up the iOS App. Please note that you don't need to configure the app with a *.healthpostconf file like is shown here, but it is a nice feature if you need to deploy at scale.

Once this app is setup, you should see data coming into your Splunk instance and this app's main dashboard should start to visualize the data.
