Details
The Splunk application for OS monitoring with Telegraf leverages the Influxdata Telegraf agent to provide key layer Operating System monitoring for Windows and Linux, ingested in the high performance Splunk metric store.

The Splunk application is back-port of the ITSI module for Telegraf OS for non ITSI users

Telegraf can be deployed and managed as a Splunk app for Linux OS:

Additional support is provided for Windows roles: Active Directory DCs, DNS, DFS, IIS/ASP.NET
