Details
Collect at-scale critical performance and inventory from your NetApp ONTAP storage environment for use in the The Splunk App for NetApp ONTAP and the The Splunk ITSI Module for Storage Array Monitoring.

The add-on supports the data collection from NetApp® Data ONTAP® Cluster Mode version 9.6 and 9.7

The NetApp ONTAP Add-on consists of four packages for deploying, scheduling and managing data collection across all of your NetApp storage environment:

1. Splunk_TA_ontap - Add-on that provides knowledge objects for ONTAP data as well as the scheduling UI needed for setting up data collection
2. SA-Hydra - Supporting add-on that is responsible for managing data collection tasks

The Splunk Add-on for NetApp Data ONTAP was previously packaged with the Splunk App for NetApp Data ONTAP. As of version 2.1.5 data collection and application UI has been separated into two packages. Additionally the ready to deploy OVA for deploying a Data Collection Node has been shipped separately as a standalone download on Splunkbase.

NetApp Add-on 2.1.5 is compatible with The Splunk App for NetApp ONTAP and The Splunk ITSI Module for Storage Array Monitoring available in Splunk ITSI 2.5
