Overview

Details

The Splunk Add-on for Citrix XenServer works with the Splunk App for Server Virtualization to provide deep visibility into your Citrix XenServer environment. It provides pre-built inputs for environment and performance data. It can be installed on universal forwarders to send data to a central Splunk instance running the app, or on Splunk indexers to provide support for other apps.

This app is authored by Splunk but is not officially supported by Splunk Support. If you have a current Splunk Enterprise Support entitlement, Splunk will provide best-effort support for cases involving this app directly, but such cases will not be subject to the Splunk Enterprise Support SLA.

This update tunes the XenServer collection methods and implements a Common Information Model (CIM) for Server Virtualization. The Splunk App for Server Virtualization has been updated as well to support more hypervisors.
